    I like to approach email design like I'm designing small single page landing pages. The main differences are that you have about 2 seconds to convince someone to actually engage with your design, & of course the crippling front-end limitations of email. As Creative Director, my team has expanded upon our relationship with Applebee's, spearheading their rebrand for mobile email and helping them expand their database. When we took over design the client saw a doubling of the click-thru rate on average for all email marketing.
